Talent-IT is currently looking for a System Engineer (Antwerp)

Jobdescription

Specific Duties:

 Installation, configuration, deployment and migration of server infrastructure.
 Installation, configuration, deployment and migration of software.
 2nd / 3th line support of standardised information systems.
 Executing assigned projects.
 Active Directory maintenance.
 Systems Monitoring.
 Provide general system analysis for future needs; make recommendations on hard- and software purchases and upgrades.
 Define detailed procedures and guidelines to be applied in planned activities
 Daily backup.
 Perform other tasks as assigned.

Profile

 Minimum 5 year work experience in similar ICT environment
 Strong service oriented attitude
 Project Management skills
 Proven analytical and incident solving abilities
 Team player
 Expert in Microsoft Windows network environment (MS Windows 200X Server, MS Exchange, MS Office 2000/2003 professional, IIS,...)
 Good knowledge of Dutch, French and English
 Being able to work autonomously in a small team
 Effective organizational and good communication skills
 Dynamic, initiative and proactive spirit
 Hands-on and willing to learn
 Understands confidential nature of the job
 Driving license

A good knowledge of one or more other products will be considered as a plus:

o HP/IBM Server Hardware
o NAS/SAN (HP/NetApp)
o HP Dataprotector backup
o Firewalls - Checkpoint
o Bluecoat
o Antivirus - Trend Micro/McAfee
o VB Script
o Microsoft AX Dynamics
