Talent-IT is voor haar klant in Antwerpen op zoek naar een Medior Tester.

As part of the Quality Assurance team, prepare, execute and report upon test activities using a risk-based approach to determine and highlight the detected quality of the application under test. The application under test (Space) consists out a rich client User Interface, an Application Server and a DB2i database.

1. Personal Skills

• The setting up and maintaining of communication channels within and outside the project teams.
• Give constructive and diplomatic feedback to the respective stakeholders about the results of the test activities.
• Executing tests in an accurate and sometimes creative way to ensure that the quality of the application under test is detected.
• Reviewing theoretical requirements and specification documents to detect design issues as early as possible.

What are the minimum entry level requirements for your job, in terms of:

Professional Background

* Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science or other relevant fields.
* 1-3 years of experience in Testing
* Certified in Software testing (ISTQB,......)

Technical Skills

* Experience with MS Office
* Experience with HP Quality Center (or ALM)

Business Skills

* Applying accuracy and creativity in its tasks
* Owning a conceptual and analytical mindset
* Good oral and written communication skills
* Diplomatic skills (e.g. to adopt communication style to different parties)
* Experience in composing and executing test cases
* Experience in system, system integration and/or acceptance testing (where appropriate)
* Knowledge of testing methodologies and the testing life cycle
* Knowledge of test automation principles
* Experience in applying test- and review techniques
